My Research Papers

Timothy Speed is a neurodivergent system theorist and artistic researcher whose work forms a distinct tradition of autistic science.
His research operates through veridical mapping (DOI: 10.5281/ZENODO.17857039 ), a non-representational mode of cognition in which form is perceived directly rather than abstracted. The result is a unified operator for consciousness, value and emergence — the Rosetta-Operator.

Speed develops a post-representational scientific paradigm grounded in different domains of research. His work spans ontology, labour theory, consciousness studies, social physics and welfare-state dynamics.
Not through comparison, but through invariance: the same operator produces the same structure across domains.
(Neurodivergent Methodology: a formalized approach to non-representational cognition and structural invariance, DOI: 10.5281/ZENODO.18054997)
His work does not propose an alternative to empirical science, but a structural framework for identifying the limits of representation, stabilization and ontological closure across scientific domains.

Speed’s long-form research corpus includes autoethnographic field-work in labour systems, artistic laboratories, film, economic theory and consciousness studies. His work argues that autistic cognition is not pathology but instrument — a high-resolution detector for structure — and positions autistic epistemology as a new research paradigm where truth is measured by invariance across transformation rather than consensus.
